Mary Cunningham Agee is the Founder and
President of the Nurturing Network, a nationwide charitable organization
comprised of over 49,000 Resource Members who have provided for the urgent and
practical needs of 19,500 women with unplanned pregnancies over the past twenty
four years. Since serving in the top management of two Fortune 100 Companies as
Vice-President for Strategic Planning, Ms. Agee has devoted all of her
professional time and resources to building a culture of life through her
leadership of the Nurturing Network, the Culture of Life Foundation, the
National Council for Adoption and the Culture of Life Leadership Coalition.
Mary, a Phi Beta Kappa and Honors graduate
from Wellesley College and the Harvard Business School, is a best selling author of
her autobiography, Powerplay, and has twice been voted by World Almanac
as one of the “The 25 Most Influential Women in America.” She has received
honorary degrees from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Loyola College, Stonehill College, Franklin Pierce College, Chestnut Hill College and Notre Dame
College. She has received numerous awards including the Humanitarian Lifetime
Award from the Wisdom Institute, the Freedom Award from Provo, Utah, the
Centennial Medal of Honor from the Columbus School of Law and a national award
from the members of the U.S. Senate and Childhelp USA for her unique efforts to
assist children and families in need. She is a devoted wife and mother of two
children.
