I would like to thank you very much for your interest in the Nurturing Network.  Supportive media coverage provides such a vital link between our services and the mothers who urgently need our support.  It is a source of great comfort and encouragement to hear from those in the media who both understand the plight of the woman faced with the crisis of an unplanned pregnancy and feel called upon to share our program with their audiences.

What began as a modest, grassroots attempt to marshal the energy and talent of a few caring friends has blossomed over the years into a powerful Network of 50,000 volunteer Member Resources.  Our volunteers now form an extensive employment, medical, educational, counseling and residential network which enables a college or working woman to continue the life of her unborn child -- without sacrificing her own educational and career development.

Since our founding, we have provided a positive alternative to abortion to 21,000 women by offering each mother an individually-tailored program of support free of charge.  As you can tell from our website, the objective of The Nurturing Network is not a political one, but a most practical one: To ensure that every woman knows that all of the assistance she needs in order to continue her pregnancy is available by visiting our website.

At the bottom of this page you will find our current Media Information Packet available for download.  In particular, I encourage you to read the three personal testimonies of mothers who have written to express their gratitude for the profound impact that our organization has had in their lives.  These are just a few of our “profiles in courage” who have expressed their thanks for the many practical ways that our volunteer Members are encouraging others to place their values into action.  The 20th Anniversary documentary DVD excerpts found here on our website may also be a helpful resource in understanding our service program.
